Punjabi singer Diljaan died Tuesday morning in a road accident in Jandiala Guru near Amritsar.
The artist, aged 31, was going to Kartarpur from Amritsar when his car collided with a truck parked on the side of the road, according to reports. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but the doctors pronounced him dead when he was brought in.
Police investigations are on and the singer's body has been sent for postmortem. Reports have come up that Diljaan's car was running at high speed, which led to the crash.
Celebrities and fans took to social media to mourn the singer's demise. Artists like Roshan Prince, Ravinder Grewal and Master Saleem posted on their Instagram accounts remembering the artist.
