On the 103rd birth anniversary of the legendary NT Rama Rao, his grandson, actor Jr NTR, visited the NTR Ghat in Hyderabad to pay rich floral tributes.

Dressed casually in denim, the actor arrived early in the day to honour the memory of his grandfather, who was both a towering icon of Telugu cinema and the founder of the TDP.

After swiftly making his way through the venue, Jr NTR spent a quiet moment remembering the former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and their shared memories.

The legendary NT Rama Rao, widely recognized as NTR, was born on May 28, 1923, and passed away on January 18, 1996, at the age of 72 after a monumental career as an actor and politician.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid his homage to TDP founder and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister NT Rama Rao.

Taking to X, PM Modi wrote, "Tributes to the great NTR Garu on his birth anniversary. He is fondly remembered for his commitment towards public welfare and governance which ensured dignity for the poor and marginalised."
