'No changes, no cancellations': #NTRNEEL makers clarify misleading rumours

One of the most anticipated projects in Telugu cinema, Prashant Neel and Jr NTR's film, recently found itself at the centre of a social media storm. Speculation suggested that Jr NTR is unhappy with his appearance in the film, which has led to a temporary halt in production.

As the rumours gained massive traction, producers Mythri Movie Makers stepped in to set the record straight, releasing an official statement to clear the air.

In an attempt to quiet the noise, the makers released a statement to soothe the rising concerns fuelled by the rumours currently circulating throughout social media.

“There is absolutely no truth to the rumours circulating about the look or any schedule cancellation. The film is progressing as planned, with only a routine preparation gap. We request everyone not to believe or spread unverified information. Official updates will always come from us,” said Mythri Movie Makers in a statement.

Following the official statement, Jr NTR fans flooded the comments with relief and celebration. One notable comment read, “Finally responded. Some paid troublemakers are spreading this (rumour).”

“Happens every time a big film is cooking… Noise before the storm,” commented another fan.

Someone else added, “Glad you addressed it… waiting for solid updates!”

Meanwhile, the makers have successfully concluded a significant overseas leg of filming in Jordan, where several pivotal scenes were captured. Following this, the team moved back to India for a brief week-long stint at a temple located near Shamshabad.

Under the working title NTRNeel, this powerhouse collaboration is backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. The producers have teased the project as an 'explosive blend of action, drama and mass appeal', hinting at a massive treat for commercial cinema lovers.
