'Saath saal ka hoon, lekin ladna nahin bhoola': Salman Khan blasts paparazzi for making content out of his pain

On Tuesday, Salman went to visit someone at Hinduja Hospital where the paparazzi followed him. After Salman was stepping out of the premises, the paparazzi started shouting 'bhai, bhai, Maatrubhumi', referring to the superstar's upcoming film. That is when Salman ended up losing his cool.

Salman Khan recently lost his cool at paparazzi when they followed him to a hospital in Mumbai raising concerns about breach of actors' privacy and boundaries.

On Tuesday, Salman went to visit someone at Hinduja Hospital where the paparazzi followed him. After Salman was stepping out of the premises, the paps started shouting 'bhai, bhai, Maatrubhumi', referring to the superstar's upcoming film.

This agitated the actor who ended up losing his cool.

In a viral video of the incident, a visibly angry Salman was seen lashing out at the photographers, asking, “Pagal ho gaye ho? (Have you gone crazy?)” while gesturing towards his forehead in an irritated manner.

The furious actor then went on to question as he approached the paparazzi that how they would feel if someone from their own family was admitted to the hospital and he would have reacted the same way.

The paparazzi were then heard apologising to the Dabangg star.

Salman Khan reacts

After Tuesday night's incident, Salman Khan took to Instagram and, once again, bashed the media for the insensitive act.

In a series of photos, Salman reacting to the viral videos, called out the paparazzi's behaviour and warned of action.

"If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with taken care made sure that they also earn their bread n butter," he wrote in the caption of an image.

He shared another photo of himself and wrote, "But if they wanna make money from my losses…. keep quiet don’t enjoy. bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life."

In a third post, Salman continued, "Aise main sau jala doonga.Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath.Buss try kar lena ….
Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga ? (I’ll burn a hundred of you down like this. Next time, try pulling this stunt when one of my brothers is going through pain – just try it with me once. When someone from your family is in the hospital, will I react like this?)"

In a fourth picture, Salman warned the media that despite his age he hasn't forgotten to fight back.

"Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa (I have turned 60 but I surely haven't forgotten how to fight, remember this. You will put me behind bars, do it)," Salman wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman will be next seen in Maatrubhumi.

The film has been stuck in a cycle of delays. Initially titled Battle of Galwan, the film was scheduled to release on April 17, 2026. However, the high-profile war drama got delayed due to censorship concerns and reshoots.

While an official release date is yet to be announced, several reports hint at an August release.
