He (Ronit) accompanied us to the hospital in a taxi but left soon after,” she said.<br /><br />Following a complaint by the victims, the police later took the actor into custody under Indian Penal Code Section 279 (rash and negligent driving) and 338 (causing grievous hurt endangering lives.)<br /><br />The actor was subjected to alcohol test at the state-run Cooper Hospital. Results did not reveal traces of any intoxicant consumption.<br /><br />Resident of the quaint and idyllic beachside locality of the Yari Road area, Ronit earned popularity on television with serials like ‘Udaan’.
