A special anti-terrorism court would announce sentences for five convicts, including underworld don Abu Salem, in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case on September 7.
Additional Sessions Judge G A Sanap, who presides over a special court set up under Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA), has completed the arguments on the quantum of sentence on August 10.
On June 16, the court had convicted six people — Mustafa Dossa alias Mustafa Majnu, Abu Salem, Karimullah Khan, Firoz Abdul Rashid Khan, Riyaz Siddiqui and Tahir Merchant alias Tahir Taklya.
The seventh accused, Abdul Qayyum, was acquitted because of lack of evidence.
