<p>The Hindi film <em>'Azad Bharath'</em>, a cinematic tribute to <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/netaji-subhas-chandra-bose">Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose</a> and the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/indian-army">Indian National Army</a> (INA), was screened at the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/parliament">Parliament</a> complex on Wednesday evening.</p><p>Karnataka filmmaker Dr. Roopa Iyer produced, directed, and acted in the movie.</p><p>Several Union Ministers, MPs, their family members and officials attended the screening, which was held at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library building.</p><p>The film highlights untold stories of the INA, including the role of women in the Rani of Jhansi Regiment, and aims to instil patriotism and national unity among the youth, according to a statement.</p><p>Rajshree Chaudhary Bose, greate granddaughter of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose also graced the occasion.</p>.AIFB General Secretary urges govt to formally accept Mukherjee Commission Report.<p>Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi addressed the gathering.</p><p>He recalled Netaji’s contributions to the freedom struggle and felicitated senior INA veterans, including a 101-year-old freedom fighter.</p><p>“Films like Azad Bharath play a vital role in passing on the ideals of our freedom fighters to the youth. The sacrifices made by our brave soldiers should serve as a constant source of motivation for all Indians,” Joshi said.</p><p>K S Somashekar, Additional Secretary in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, was also present.</p>
