<p>The advance booking of the Rs 300 special entry darshan tickets will soon be done online, putting an end to the delayed darshan at the Tirumala temple.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) M G Gopal on Tuesday announced that from August 30, pilgrims can book the Rs 300 special entry darshan tickets regularly in Internet Booking and e-Darshan counters.<br /><br />The EO elaborated on the guidelines of the new system at his camp office in Tirumala to media persons.<br /><br />On an experimental basis, TTD will commence the sale of 5,000 tickets of Rs 300 from 9 am onwards on Wednesday, August 20, for the seventh day darshan on August 27 for 2 pm and 3 pm slots.<br /><br />“ By the instructions of Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu who visited Tirumala recently and directed the TTD to find ways and means to reduce the waiting hours, a team of officers led by Tirumala JEO K S Sreenivasa Raju, chalked out a plan to execute this new system for the sake of the multitude of visiting pilgrims,” Gopal said.</p>
