Grover believed that his son’s soul would not rest in peace as his last rites could not be performed in accordance with his religion.<br /><br />He also blamed the court for basing its judgement on Maria’s confession. “The confession of Maria appears to be drafted by someone, who is an expert and is clearly aimed at making sure that she got away with lighter punishment,” he added.<br /><br />Grover thanked the media for its support. He also said that some lawyers had contacted him and assured their full support in fighting the case in higher courts.
