<div align="justify">Ex-minister Moola Mukesh Goud’s son Moola Vikram Goud was shot by unknown persons at his home in Banjara Hills during the wee hours on Friday. However, Goud who suffered bullet injuries is safe and recovering at Apollo hospitals.<br /><br />According to police, unknown persons opened fire on him at around 3.30am and three rounds of bullets injured his right shoulder and spinal cord.<br /><br />He was shifted to Jubilee Hills Apollo hospital where doctors declared that he is out of danger. Doctors removed three bullets from his body.<br /><br />Police said that the reasons behind the firing were not known but, they are verifying CCTV footages to nab accused persons. Clues team visited the spot in Gayatri Hills near Hafeez Baba Nagar in Banjara Hills.<br /><br />According to Vikram's wife Shefali, the couple woke up at around 2.30 am to attend a religious programme. She heard shots immediately after her husband went down the stairs to ground floor.<br /><br />West Zone DCP A. Venkateswarlu visited Apollo hospital and enquired about the incident with local police and the family members of Vikram Goud.<br /><br />Moola Mukesh Goud served the united Andhra Pradesh as B.C. Welfare Minister and looked after other portfolios. Mr Vikram is an active leader in youth congress as well as an upcoming politician.
