Farmers in Hubli protest fall in onion prices

The farmers, who staged the protest infront of the office of the Agriculture Produce Market Committee, demanded that the APMC should retain the old price.

The central government yesterday banned export of onions and removed the existing five per cent customs duty on import in the wake of sky-rocketing prices.
