Most of these dresses used to be an exquisite work of art. Kurtas, achkans, bandgalas and even turbans, all these apparels used to be embedded with costliest of jewels and jari work on silk made them wonderful works of art.” Wearing them will transform you into a modern-day royal, he maintains. <br /><br />The shirts will be delivered with a touch of royalty to special customers. Each and every shirt will be delivered at customer’s doorstep. If the customer is living in 300-km radius, the shirts will be delivered free of cost. Beyond that distance, air fare will be charged. “Anybody going for a shirt above Rs 1 lakh will be given the special honour, with a dedicated person who will go his place to take measurements,” Chandel said, adding that his range of shirts caters to a niche elite. <br /><br />Chandel’s shirts could be world’s costliest. The closest competitors are not even half way there. T-shirts designed by Daniel J of 50K tees, cost $50,000 each. Swedish shirt-making company Eton, on its 80th founding day created a $45,000 shirt, made out of the finest Egyptian cotton and the studs and the cufflinks encrusted with diamonds.
