<p>Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court on Thursday will observe two minutes of silence as a mark of respect and solidarity to the victims of Pahalgam terror attack, a circular issued by registrar general stated on Wednesday late in the evening.</p><p>The move came after the managing committee of the Gujarat high court advocates' association (GHAA) requested the chief justice Sunita Agarwal. </p>.Pahalgam attack: J&K employees to observe two-minute silence as mark of respect for victims.<p>In the letter addressed to the chief justice, the association stated to observe two minutes of silence for the victims of the Pahalgam Terrorist attack at 11am, prior to the commencement of court proceedings.</p><p>"It's the collective sentiment of the entire Bar that such a gesture of respect be extended to the victims of this heinous and cowardly terrorist attack," the letter signed by Hardik Brambhatt, secretary, GHAA, added.</p><p>Subsequently, a circular issued by the registrar general of the high court informed that "judges, lawyers, members of the staff and all other persons present in the court and in the registry shall observe two minutes' silence at 11 AM tomorrow, i.e. 24/04/2025, as a mark of respect and solidarity to the victims of the Pahalgam Attack as well as their bereaved families."</p><p>On Tuesday, at least 26 tourists were killed in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir by a group of terrorists in what is said to be one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in the valley. Three of the victims were from Gujarat including a father-son duo from Bhavnagar and a banker from Surat.</p>
