<p>Ahmedabad: Saying that "Operation Sindoor was not just a military action but a reflection of India’s values and sentiments”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday also said that "India and Modi couldn't have sat silently" after the brutal killing of 26 people in Pahalgam. </p><p>He said, "When someone wipes off the vermilion (sindoor) of our mothers and sisters, their (terrorists) destruction is also certain."</p><p>"We found out nine biggest terrorist hideouts. We reduced them to dust in 22 minutes on 6th (May) for the game they played on 22nd (killing of tourists in Pahalgam on April 22)," Modi said while addressing a public gathering in Dahod after inauguration of development works including inauguration of 9,000 HP Locomotive Rolling Stock Workshop built by the Ministry of Railway. </p><p>Modi in his speech in Hindi said, "The country (Pakistan) born after partition has focused mainly on hostility towards India and causing harm. On the other hand, India is committed to eradicating poverty, strengthening its economy, and becoming a developed nation."</p><p>This is the first visit of PM Modi after "Operation Sindoor". He held massive roadshows in Vadodara and Bhuj in Kutch district on the first day of this two-day home state visit. </p><p>Mentioning how terrorists killed people in front of their children, the PM said, "Think for a bit. The fathers were gunned down in front of their children. Those images still boil the blood. These terrorists challenged 140 crore Indians. Modi did exactly the kind of responsibility you gave him as a leader. He also urged people to use made in India materials in festivities instead of buying foreign made. </p><p>Later in the day, during his visit to Bhuj in Kutch district, the prime minister targeted Pakistan against for "harbouring terrorism." </p><p>"India believes in tourism which connects people but Pakistan is the one country which believes terrorism is tourism and this is the biggest danger for the world..." </p><p>During aerial clash with Pakistan, Bhuj in Kutch district, drones were seen flying in its sky which were neutralised by the Indian forces.</p><p>Modi said that "Operation Sindoor" has made it clear that "India follows the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism." </p><p>Addressing the gathering, the prime minister said, "Whoever tries to shed the blood of Indians will be answered in their own language. Operation Sindoor is mission of ending terrorism and safety of humankind. When Pakistan didn't take any action even after 15 days (of the terror attack), I gave our armed forces freehand. India targeted the terrorists' headquarters hundreds of km inside Pakistan with precision. Our armed forces showed the world how capable and disciplined they are. Pakistan was forced to take refuge and requested for ceasefire." </p><p>Modi in his speech blamed Pakistani military and its government for giving shelter to terrorists outfits which have destroyed the country. </p><p>"From the land of Kutch, I want to tell people of Pakistan that what have they gained...India is the fourth largest economy and look at your condition. Ask yourselves - who destroyed future of your children? It is terrorism. You army runs its own agenda. I want to tell the children of Pakistan that your government supports terrorism as it has become a source of making money. You government and army are pushing your future into darkness."</p><p>He said that people of Pakistan, specially the youngsters, will have to come forward to end this condition for a better future. "Sukh chain ki jindagi jiyo, roti khao varna meri goli toh hai hi (Live life peacefully... eat food or else my bullet)," Modi said amid chanting of "Modi-Modi." </p><p>He added that "India's direction is clear that it has chosen to walk on the path of peace and prosperity."</p>
