<p>The Lucknow Association of Practicing Pathologists and Microbiologists has appealed to the doctors to write the line `we support Anna Hazare and the Jan Lokpal Bill' at the bottom ofr prescriptions slips for medicines that they write for their patients.<br /><br />``It is an attempt to show the people that we are also with Anna Hazare in his fight against corruption'', said the association's Lucknow chapter president Dr P K Gupta, who along with many other medical professionals, was present at the Jhulelal Park on the bank of the Gomti River, where the members of the India Against Corruption (IAC) have been holding a sit-in for the past few days. <br /><br />Other doctors present at the site of the `dharna' also concurred with the idea. “We see hundreds of patients every day...if a line is mentioned in the prescriptions, the message will travel for and wide...anyone, who lays his hand on the prescription, will read the message'', said another doctor.<br /><br />A group of doctors has been circulating the appeal through e-mails, SMSs and telephones, Dr Gupta said, adding that the doctors have been asked to make sure that they do not discuss the Hazare movement with their patients. “They should simply write the line in the prescription,” he added. <br /><br />Some diagnostic centres in the city have started mentioning the line on the pathological test reports of the patients in bold capital letters. </p>.<p> Difference within Cong over arrest<br /><br />In an apparent difference within the Congress over the arrest of Anna Hazare, party leader and east Delhi MP Sandeep Dikshit said the government may have erred in sensing the public mood regarding the arrest of social activist, DHNS reports from New Delhi.<br /><br />Dikshit, however, hoped the issue ends amicably. Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh was present at the function organised to mark the birth anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. </p>
