<p>India's aviation regulator on Tuesday said that Air India operated an aircraft last month with an expired Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC), leading to its grounding and an investigation.</p><p>The grounded aircraft was an Airbus A320, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter.</p><p>On November 26, Air India informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that the aircraft had been flown eight times after the certificate expired, the regulator said.</p>
