The US on Saturday said India has committed to stop directly or indirectly importing Russian oil, following which the additional 25 per cent tariffs imposed by America on Indian goods will be removed from February 7. Union Minister Piyush Goyal while addressing a press conference today said that the pact with US will not hurt interests of farmers, MSMEs, handicraft, handlooms in any way. He said, "We have not included any item where any Indian farmer will be hurt. All sensitive items have been kept out of the deal. No GM items will enter India."
