Eleven 11 students of BSc (nursing) at a private nursing college, accused of ragging their juniors, were arrested by the police here on Thursday.
Based on a complaint from one Martin George, the Ullal police had registered a case against 18 students.
Mangaluru Commissioner of Police N Sashikumar has appealed to the students to get themselves introduced to their juniors in a friendly manner and not harass them. The commissioner also appealed to institution heads, lecturers and students to report incidents of ragging to the police.
