<p>Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister R Ashoka on Wednesday condemned the statements of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha and Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy on the Cauvery water-sharing dispute.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“They have no moral right to make such statements and talk about Karnataka and Kannadigas,” Ashok told reporters on the sidelines of an event in the City. <br /><br />Ashoka said such statements would worsen the relationship between the two states. “We are in a pathetic state and the two states are indulging in blackmail tactics. The problem erupts whenever Jayalalitha becomes chief Minister,” he stated. Chief Minister Shettar has met the Union ministers. <br /><br />“The ball is in the PM’s court now,” the Home Minister said.</p>
