<p>The big day is finally here: the finale of the Metrolife Fashion Show is taking place tomorrow at Dayananda Sagar Institutions, and eight teams — each of whom proved themselves at the preliminaries — are going to battle it out for the spot of Bangalore’s most fashionable college. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The show promises to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever before. With celebrity judges, power-packed entertainment sequences and cutting-edge statements on the ramp, there’s a lot to look forward to.<br /><br /> The eight teams who have qualified for the finale are from MSR Medical College, Mount Carmel College, Acharya Institute of Technology, St Joseph’s College <br />(Autonomous), Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology, New Horizon College, Oxford College of Sciences and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. The eight teams will walk the ramp twice. <br /><br />For the creative round, their collections will be centred around a given theme, which they are free to interpret in their own way. <br /><br />They will also be walking the ramp in the latest collections from the brands that are associated with the show — John Players, American Swan, INMARK, Jewelsouk, Provogue, PN Rao, Brand Factory and Rattrap. Another highlight of the evening will be a performance by dance troupe ‘Tarantismo’. Like last year, this season of the show has been put together by Bangalore-based choreographer Mithilesh Nyathappa. The finale will be hosted by MC Amar and DJ Vidur will be taking over the console for the occasion.</p>
