Awarding excellence

The ‘Achievers’ Day’ of Surana College was held at the Micro Labs Training Center, Kudlu, recently.

The guests for the event were managing trustee Archana Surana, programme coordinator Srinivas and principal Dr Sakuntala Samuelson who addressed the gathering with inspirational words. 

The college awarded the students who excelled in the Bangalore University exams by felicitating them along with their deserving mentors. Achievers in the field of culture, NSS, NCC were also felicitated.

The spotlight was on the  achievers in the sports field for their representation at the national and international level.

Srinivas, director of Surana College, asked the students to dream big and put in concrete efforts to achieve their dreams. The achievers were made to understand that it takes extra effort to be different from the crowd.

It was a relaxed day for students who were quite cheerful as they indulged
in playing games. They enjoyed the lavish food and danced to their favourite numbers.

The event was full of life, passion, and spirit and showed that creativity knows no bounds.  
      The programme was an IQAC initiative.
