<p>Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Friday advised citizens not to stand under trees during rainfall.</p>.<p>The advisory came a day after an autorickshaw driver died when an uprooted tree fell on his parked vehicle.</p>.<p>Heavy rains in Bengaluru uprooted 23 trees and snapped 52 branches in a single day.</p>.Bengaluru: 87 tree falls across city in less than 24 hours of rain.<p>BBMP’s special commissioner and zonal commissioners visited the affected areas to assess rain-related damage. "All fallen trees have been cleared," the BBMP said in a statement.</p>.<p>The advisory, issued by the BBMP’s Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), stated that 40-year-old Mahesh lost his life, and an autorickshaw along with two cars were damaged after a tree collapsed on them in Kathriguppe, South Zone.</p>.<p>Most of the tree falls were reported in the South Zone, while broken branches were recorded in the South and West zones, where the concentration of roadside trees is high.</p>
