Bengaluru: RPF conducts training to improve passenger safety

Bengaluru: A comprehensive one-day training programme on Quick Reaction Team (QRT) operations and crowd management was conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Bengaluru Division.

The objective of the training was to enhance the operational preparedness, tactical response capability, and crowd management skills of RPF personnel, particularly in view of the large passenger movement witnessed at railway stations and on trains. The programme also aimed at strengthening coordination between the RPF and specialised central armed police forces such as RAF/CRPF during emergencies, law and order situations, and mass gathering scenarios.

The training sessions included both theoretical briefings and practical demonstrations, covering various critical aspects related to crowd management and emergency response.
