<p>A day after controversial videos of Bengaluru Rural SP Dr Bheemashankar S Guled went viral on television, the state government on Monday transferred the 2012 batch IPS officer. The government, however, has not assigned any post for Guled.</p>.<p>The video caused much embarrassment to the state police force.</p>.<p>Following a complaint by a techie, the Koramangala police invoked IPC Section 497 (adultery) against Guled.</p>.<p>The issue snowballed into a bitter controversy, forcing the government to crack its whip. Holding a marathon meeting with bureaucrats and senior police officers on Monday in the Vidhana Soudha, Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara clarified that he has sought a report from the DGP over the issue.</p>.<p>By Monday evening, the government shunted out Guled and made DCP (Traffic), West Bengaluru, T P Shivakumar as Superintendent of Police, Bengaluru Rural district.</p>.<p>Meanwhile, the complaint filed by the techie against Guled is likely to come up for hearing before the 1 ACMM court on Tuesday.</p>
