Bomb threat writing found on apartment wall in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Residents were in shock after a writing on the wall of an apartment complex in northeast Bengaluru claimed a bomb threat, police said. “I am going to blast to India from Pakistan (sic),” the writing on the wall of Alpine Pyramid apartment complex in Kodigehalli said.

Following an alert, the Kodigehalli police immediately rushed to the spot and, as per the standard operating procedure, conducted a thorough sweep. The bomb squad was also roped in, and after multiple checks, the threat was declared a hoax.

Investigators have begun scouring the nearby CCTV footage and found that three people, who appeared to be minor girls, were roaming around the area and acting suspiciously. Police have registered a non-cognizable report (NCR) and launched the probe.
