<p>Bengaluru: A man and his eight-year-old child were killed after a KSRTC bus ran over them in Doddaballapura Rural police station limits in the outskirts of Bengaluru.</p>.<p>According to the police, the incident occurred between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm.</p>.<p>Venkatesh Murthy, aged around 40, his two children, and mother-in-law were on a two-wheeler on the Bengaluru-Hindupur Road, travelling towards the city. </p>.After Bengaluru cow horror, miscreants cut off calf's tail in Mysuru.<p>Venkatesh reportedly attempted to overtake an APSRTC bus ahead of them, but the two-wheeler’s handle grazed the side of the bus, causing him to lose balance. They all fell on to the road.</p>.<p>A KSRTC bus behind them ran over Venkatesh and his eight-year-old daughter. Venkatesh died on the spot, while his daughter was declared dead in a hospital nearby. The other two escaped with minor injuries, according to the police.</p>.<p>A case has been registered against Venkatesh and the drivers of the APSRTC and KSRTC buses.</p>
