<p>Speaking to presspersons after flagging off Yeshwantpur-Tirupati train here on Tuesday, the Minister said the proposal to develop the city railway station on a public-private-partnership basis could take wings only if the state government allotted the required land.<br /><br />Wish list submitted<br /><br />Refusing to divulge more on the coming Railway budget, Muniyappa said Tumkur-Davangere and Harihar-Shimoga lines would get a mention in the budget. The land for Bagalkot-Kuduchi line was yet to be acquired. <br /><br />The 60-km stretch is estimated to be constructed at a cost of Rs 960 crore. He said Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has already submitted a wishlist to Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.<br /><br />Of the ten trains announced for the Bangalore Division, seven including the one flagged off on Tuesday have been introduced, Muniyappa said.<br /><br />The Yeshwantpur-Tirupati triweekly intercity express departs from Yeshwantpur (No. 12543) at 7.20 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and reaches Tirupati at 1.30 pm. In the return direction, the train (No. 12544) departs from Tirupati at 2.50 pm on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays and arrives in Yeshwantpur at 8.55 pm.<br /><br />The train has stoppages at K R Puram, Bangarpet junction , Katpadi junction and Pakala.<br />Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje were present.<br /><br /></p>
