Cubbon Park-Hosahalli metro to start at 9 am tomorrow

Bengaluru: Metro train services between Hosahalli and Cubbon Park stations on the Purple Line will begin two hours late on Sunday due to essential maintenance work.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said it would undertake the work between Majestic and Central College on the Purple Line on Sunday. As a result, no metro services will run between Hosahalli and Cubbon Park from 7 am to 9 am.

Services from all terminals — Silk Institute, Madavara, Challaghatta, Whitefield-Kadugodi, RV Road and Bommasandra — will start at 7 am, in line with Sunday timings.

However, services during the 7 am to 9 am window
will operate only on the following stretches: Challaghatta to Vijayanagar, MG Road to Whitefield (Kadugodi), Madavara to Silk Institute, and RV Road to Bommasandra. Normal services across the entire Purple Line will resume at 9 am, BMRCL said.
