<p>Bengaluru: The final day of the two-day conference on complications of interventional pulmonology started off with the complications in rigid bronchoscopy and discussed multiple issues including interventional radiology and managing complications in the immunosuppressed and post-lung transplant patients. </p>.<p>Dr David Fielding, Professor Royal Brisbane Clinical Unit, Australia, told <em>DH</em>: “Complications are something that all the doctors globally face and this conference is a reflection of the honesty of the team to talk about this. Discussions about complications should be held worldwide. We all face complications due to numerous reasons and we have to come forward to accept it, so we can discuss it and minimise the risks.” </p>.<p>A workshop was held to teach doctors the complications that could arise and effective ways to manage them. The complications of interventional pulmonology include bleeding, low oxygen level, air leak from lungs and equipment failure. With technology, risks of complications have reduced. </p>
