<p>Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police have arrested five people for the murder of a 42-year-old rowdy at a bar in north Bengaluru’s Soladevanahalli last week. </p>.<p>The arrested suspects are Muniraju alias Muni, 24; Rajesh K alias Bablu, 21; Yatish Gowda alias Yathi, 26; Vinay Kumar alias Gudde, 25; and Uday J, 19, all residents of Yelahanka New Town. </p>.<p>Jayaram K, a history-sheeter at the Yelahanka New Town police station, was hacked to death with billhook machetes on March 4. Jayaram came out on bail in 2017 and opened a poultry shop,” a police officer close to the investigation said. </p>.<p>When the police established the links, they found that Kiran’s brother, presently imprisoned at Parappana Agrahara, had earlier threatened Jayaram. The police then discovered that Kiran's close circle orchestrated the murder. </p>.<p>The police have secured the suspects' custody for 10 days. </p>
