<p>Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has hailed the role of women and said his family has always been his strength in life. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Farhan and Farout Media are all set to release a special song, ‘We Are All on The Goodside’, in collaboration with music composer Kalyan Baruah.<br /><br />“It is difficult to quantify the importance...place of them (women in life). They’ve always been supportive and appreciated me always in my life. They have always been honest. In a stable family set-up, it’s your family who is always your strength,” Farhan said when asked about the importance of women in his life including his mother, sister and his wife Adhuna, <br />from whom he got separated.<br /><br />Referring to the song, he said, “I am honoured to be part of this global movement. This year we are releasing a song with Farout Media. Through this song we talk about equality...celebrating equality”.<br /><br />The ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ actor said he always tried to come up with innovative concepts through his films on women. <br /><br />“In the capacity of a writer, producer or director, I always try to come up with interesting concepts and ideas through films with or on women. We had films like ‘Dil Dhadakane Do’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, he added.<br /><br />The actor said the song was not only a tribute to women but is also dedicated to his daughter. “It was my daughter Akira who inspired us for this song,” Farhan said, referring to a drawing by Akira which had people together on one side of a heart.<br /><br />“This song also celebrates the spirit of being free and brings together the spirit of oneness,” he said.<br /><br />‘We Are All on The Goodside’ will be released tomorrow and will be available across music services.</p>
