High Grounds, Seshadripuram see new traffic and parking rules to reduce congestion

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police have implemented changes to traffic movement and parking arrangements within the High Grounds and Seshadripuram Traffic Station limits to ensure smoother traffic flow.

In the High Grounds Police Station limits, Nehru Nagar 3rd Main Road has been converted into a one-way street, with traffic allowed from Nehru Circle to SN Iyengar Street (south to north). The 3rd Cross, KP West Park–Seshadripuram Road, has also been converted into one-way, with vehicular traffic allowed from SN Iyengar Street to Nagappa Street.

In the Seshadripuram jurisdiction, MLA Office Road has been changed to one-way, allowing traffic flow from Sampige Road to Sirur Park Road.

Two-wheeler parking will be facilitated on RP Road between Hare Krishna Road Railway underpass and KP West 6th Cross Road (east direction). Four-wheeler parking on KP Road will be allowed between KP West 6th Cross Road and the BDA office, Sankey Road (east direction).

In Seshadripuram, two-wheeler parking will be available on Sirur Park Road from the South End Road junction to SC Road near Natraj Theatre (west direction). Two-wheelers can also be parked on MLA Office Road between Sampige Road, BBMP office, and Sirur Park Road (north direction).

No parking zones

The traffic police have announced that no vehicle parking will be allowed on RP Road between Hare Krishna Road Railway underpass and the BDA office, Sankey Road (west direction). Police have also announced no parking on Sirur Park Road between the South End Road junction and SC Road near Natraj Theatre (east direction). Parking is not allowed on MLA Office Road between Sirur Park Road and Sampige Road (south direction).
