BSWML imposed fine of Rs 1 lakh on hotel for violating solid waste management norms

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Ltd (BSWML) on Wednesday imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on a hotel for violating solid waste management norms.

According to a statement issued by the BSWML, the hotel had failed to segregate wet and dry waste at source. It was also found lacking in maintaining hygiene on the premises and in properly managing solid waste.

The hotel is located at Jayanagar 4th T Block on Swagath Road.
