Italian fashion on the ramp

The launch of Hi-Fabrique Inc’s ‘Venerdi Collection’ recently got a great response from fashionistas across the City. The fashion show was presented by Prasad Bidapa and saw the models sporting the glamourous collection as they walked down the ramp.

The showstoppers were model and actress Gauahar Khan and actor Rajeev KhandelwalModels walked the ramp in casuals, formals and evening wear which were made of ‘Giza’ yarn. “The Venerdi collection of Italy is known for the rich Italian culture in its designs with a tinge of Indian trends and looks. It is a premium brand and is available in major retail stores across the country.

Developed and designed in Italian design studios and manufactured in renowned European mills using best yarns and the most sophisticated technology, Venerdi aims to be the leading fabric brand in the country,” said a spokesperson of the brand.

Creativity, style and innovative designs were some of the highlights of the brand. Trendy outfits in rich, eclectic hues, combined with the latest trends, made the clothes stand out and received appreciation from the audience. The other showstoppers were actors Pratyusha, Nazim Saathiya, Anirudh Dave and Laila Khan.

The audience was quite impressed with the show and felt that the clothes could be worn for any occasion, casual or formal. “The collection also had some party wear which were bright and funky. The clothes looked very nice and I am sure that when combined with the right accessories and shoes, they will really stand out in a crowd and look very classy. I liked one of the gowns that was showcased on the ramp and I may pick that up later,” noted Anitha, who attended the show.

A host of casual clothes were also showcased on the ramp. Comfortable fits, trendy cuts and bright colours made the clothes appealing and nice. “What really impressed me was that the clothes showcased are very wearable yet fashionable. Some of the shirts and trousers can be easily worn for a casual outing with friends or to a party.

The show was great and I am very impressed with the collection. There is a lot to choose from. I am looking forward to buying some of the clothes,” said Suchith, who attended the show.
