<p>Bengaluru: A labourer died while allegedly cleaning a sewage pit in north Bengaluru, the police said.</p>.<p>The deceased, Puttaswamy (31), had been hired along with another worker to clean the clogged pit. The police said that Puttaswamy died due to asphyxiation and inhalation of toxic fumes.</p>.<p>Both men collapsed inside the pit and were rushed to hospital, where Puttaswamy died. The RMC Yard police have registered an FIR and launched a probe.</p>
