<p>Bengaluru: The death of a 30-year-old dog breeder in north Bengaluru a few days back is shrouded in mystery. The police are yet to arrest any suspects involved in the case.</p>.<p>Guna, the victim, had been reported missing by his wife, Josephine, on January 10 when he did not return home in Hegde Nagar. Hours later, his body was discovered in an apartment in a complex in Bagalur during a police investigation.</p>.<p>Josephine stated in her complaint that Guna left home around 12.30 pm, saying he was going to an apartment to collect a payment. When he did not return by evening, she contacted his friend Chandru S, who said that he had accompanied Guna to the apartment, but was asked to wait in the parking lot while Guna went to flat number 15075 on the seventh floor.</p>.Namma Metro identifies land in Sarjapur to build depot.<p>Later, Josephine called Guna’s phone, only to have an unknown person answer and falsely claim that Guna had been taken to the Chikkaballapur police station. However, the police confirmed neither Guna nor a case involving him was registered there.</p>.<p>When Josephine joined the police to investigate, CCTV footage from the apartment revealed two men, including Brijesh — the purported resident of flat 15075 — carrying Guna’s body wrapped in a blood-stained bedsheet into the elevator around 8.46 pm. Chandru identified Brijesh in the footage. Josephine alleged that Guna was killed with a weapon and the suspects were attempting to dispose of his body.</p>.<p>Based on the findings, a second FIR was filed under BNS sections 103 (punishment for murder), 238 (causing disappearance of evidence), and 3 (5) (a criminal act carried out by multiple people with common intention).</p>.<p>The police are actively pursuing Brijesh and another unidentified suspect, but have yet to make any arrests.</p>
