<p class="title">The BBMP proposed Rs 125 crore development projects for the IT-BT corridors in its budget. It has also planned a project report for the overall development of the IT hub at Rs 3 crore.</p>.<p class="bodytext">MLC Rizwan Arshad said: “I thank mayor Gangambike Mallikarjun for accepting my suggestion to start a reserve fund for the development of areas falling under IT corridor of Bengaluru city. Although Rs 125 crore is not a very big amount, the initiation will go a long way.”</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking to DH, mayor clarified that the fund would not be utilised for the elevated corridor proposed by the government, but would be used to take up civil works.</p>
