Rs 3.2 cr in cash, valuables recovered

Announcing this at a press conference here on Tuesday, Commissioner of Police Shankar M Bidari patted the back of his personnel for their accomplishments. He also announced a total cash reward of Rs 1.10 lakh to policemen who successfully solved the cases.

Stolen valuables and cash, valued at Rs1 crore were recovered in the North Division, he added. Also, the Central Crime Branch sleuths had successfully cracked two cases recovering stolen vehicles worth Rs 29 lakh and Rs 2.26 lakh cash.

On the police's preparedness for the upcoming BBMP polls,  Bidari said that all pending warrants and proclamations would be executed soon.
