Shilpa Ganesh complains against fake post

Actor Ganesh's wife Shilpa lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police about a fake post created by some unknown persons using her photograph.

The post was circulated on social media with derogatory statements on the naming controversy of 'silk university' as Kempegowda university.

Shilpa stated in her complaint before Rajarajeshwari Nagar police that she received a WhatsApp post from a person named Giri Gowda about her refusal to name the silk university as Kempegowda university.

She clarified on social media that she has not posted any derogatory statement and sought to take action against those who created the fake post and circulated it.
