Suspected terror accused dies in Central Jail Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A suspected terror accused lodged in Bengaluru Central Jail died due to illness late on Friday night, police said.

Sadiq Pasha (47), who had been undergoing treatment at Victoria Hospital, succumbed despite medical care. He had been suffering from multiple health issues, including low blood pressure and diabetes, for the past six months.

Pasha was at Central Jail since 2020 in connection with a case related to the storage of explosive materials under the Suddaguntepalya police station limits.

 The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had conducted raids and arrested six suspects in the case.
