<p>Bengaluru: A tipper truck caught fire on Whitefield Main Road in the early hours of Tuesday after one of its rear tyres burst, triggering a blaze.</p>.<p>The incident occurred around 6.30 am while the truck was moving along Whitefield Main Road from Varthur Kodi towards Whitefield. The sudden release of energy from the tyre burst, combined with increased friction, is believed to have caused the fire, the Whitefield traffic police reported.</p>.<p>“Slow-moving traffic due to accidental fire to a vehicle on Whitefield Main Road (Varthur Kodi to Whitefield), traffic movement is one side,” the Whitefield Traffic Police posted on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle.</p>.<p>The Fire Department responded swiftly and doused the flames. No injuries were reported. The truck was cleared from the road by 7.30 am.</p>
