<p>Bengaluru: Light rainfall across Bengaluru on Thursday morning led to minimal waterlogging and traffic disruptions in several areas, including Yelahanka Junction towards Airport Road.</p>.<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded 3.6 mm and 2.4 mm of rain at the Bengaluru city and HAL observatories, respectively, until 8.30 pm. Meanwhile, the Kempegowda International Airport observatory recorded 6.2 mm of rain until 5.30 pm.</p>.<p>Waterlogging was reported in key areas such as Old Madras Road near Tin Factory, near Town Hall, and along the International Airport Road, causing delays during the morning peak hours. A tree falls on Mother Teresa Road in Austin Town further halted traffic for an extended period.</p>.<p>The IMD has forecasted rainfall over the next few days, particularly in South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather is expected in North Interior Karnataka, with shallow fog likely in some areas.</p>.<p>"Kolar, Tumakuru, and Chikkaballapur are expected to experience heavy rain, while other regions will see light showers. The system has moved southward, and moisture incursion is now reduced," said N Puviarasan, Scientist 'F' and Head, Meteorological Centre, Bengaluru.</p>.<p>While light rain is expected in Bengaluru on Friday, the weekend is likely to remain dry with cloudy skies.</p>.<p>The IMD has also predicted isolated heavy rain in Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagara, Kolar, and Tumakuru districts, along with light to moderate rainfall in parts of Coastal Karnataka.</p>
