Anuradha was the second wife of Shyamsundar, a cab driver. On Monday, Shyamsundar and Anuradha had a fight the whole night. Shyamsundar’s first wife Krishnakumari and their two daughters were living in a flat on the third floor of the same building. The cops are on the lookout for Shyamsundar. Krishnakumari has been detained.<br /><br />Bus kills woman<br /><br />Lakshmamma (40) was killed and 13 persons sustained injuries when a private bus smashed into a road-side tree on Byadarahalli road on Tuesday.<br /><br />The woman was walking to her house in Muneshwar Layout when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and mowed her down before ramming into a tree. The injured were rushed to two hospitals in Sunkadakatte, police said.<br /><br />Hundreds of people blocked the road for a while after the accident, claiming that a divider built on the widening road had narrowed the motorable stretch.<br /><br />Five arrested<br /></p>.<p>The Central Crime Branch police have thwarted murder and robbery bids by arresting five people, said to be associates of gangster JCB Narayan.<br /><br />Srinivas alias Kurup Seen (25), Ravi alias Gujari Ravi (27), Santosh (34), all from Hosa Road, Shankarappa (35) of Rayasandra and N Lokesh (33) of Parappana Agrahara Main Road had allegedly hatched a plan to murder members of a rival gang in Parappanaha Agrahara. Narayan was put behind bars for a year under the Goonda Act, but continued his illegal activities after release. He managed to flee during the raid, police said. A car and lethal weapons have have been seized.</p>
