<p> A pregnant woman committed suicide allegedly due to harassment by her husband and in-laws, at her house in JJ Nagar police limits on Saturday.<br /><br /></p>.<p> The deceased has been identified as Rukhsar (22), a resident of Padarayanapura.<br /><br />According to police, Rukhsar was married to Anees, a mechanic. The couple have two children and she was carrying the third child. It is said that Anees and his parents used to harass Rukhsar for dowry. <br /><br />Unable to bear the torture, she hung herself from a ceiling fan, police said. The incident came to light when her in-laws returned home. They immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital as she was still breathing. However, she died after a while. <br /><br />Following a complaint of dowry harassment, Anees and his parents have been arrested, police said.<br /></p>
