<p>Bengaluru: A 27-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her separated husband’s friend, who then died by suicide at her house on the outskirts of Bengaluru, police said on Wednesday.</p><p>The deceased is Mandira Mondal, and the dead suspect is Suman Mondal, also 27.</p>.Bengaluru: 2 held for murder of labourer in Kadugodi.<p>According to the police, Suman visited Mandira at her house in Thirupalya on Tuesday evening. Police suspect a relationship gone sour led to some sort of argument, which later led Suman to kill Mandira by slitting her throat and then hanging himself.</p><p>Police were alerted late in the evening after the bodies were discovered. Inquiries revealed that Mandira had separated from her husband of eight years, Bijon Mondal, two years ago. On the day of the crime, the couple’s six-year-old son, who stayed with Mandira after the separation, was at her parents’ house nearby.</p><p>According to the police, Suman and Bijon had gone to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands a year ago in search of daily wage work. Suman returned to Bengaluru 15 days ago and got in contact with Mandira.</p><p>The Hebbagodi police have registered a case of murder under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and launched a probe. </p><p>The deceased were originally from West Bengaluru and moved to the city years ago in search of a livelihood, police said.</p>
