<p>The book is a tribute to Ranga Rao, a self made entrepreneur and forerunner in the Indian agarbathi industry. <br /><br />Releasing the book, Dr Sastry described several anecdotes highlighting the humanitarian quality of N Ranga Rao, who allowed his competitors to visit the market first which is a rare quality in a businessman, he said. <br /><br />Collection<br /><br />The book is a collection of articles written by his children and those who knew him. <br />It talks about Ranga Rao’s life as an entrepreneur, his principles and values with which he built the organization and bringing it to a leadership status. <br /><br />Pioneer<br /><br />The book also describes his pioneering works and contribution to the agarbathi industry.<br />Chairman, NR Group, R Guru, said, “We are extremely proud to have maintained the leadership position in Indian agarbathi industry.<br /><br /> “It is only because of the principles and strong business values that our father has instilled in us. <br /><br />“This book is our tribute to our father, a mark of respect from his children acknowledging the contribution he made to our lives and the lives of thousands of families who have been associated with ‘Cycle Pure Agarbathies’.”<br /><br />Private circulation<br /><br />The biography has been edited by Dr T V Venkatachala Sastry and published by R N Murthy, son of Ranga Rao. <br /><br />The book in Kannada language is available only for private circulation, a press release said.</p>
