<p>Reddy, son of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, allegedly owns assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.<br /><br /> On Wednesday, as directed by the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the CBI booked cases <br />of cheating, criminal conspiracy, and criminal breach of trust against him. <br /><br />In addition, cases were booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. <br /><br />Andhra Pradesh Minister Sankar Rao had alleged that investments in companies owned and promoted by Reddy were quid pro quo for favours doled out by the government headed by his late father. <br /><br />The CBI teams are seeking details of income and other documents pertaining to Jagan’s properties. <br /><br />On Thursday, too, the CBI raided Jagan’s properties at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Delhi and Mumbai were searched.</p>
