CM Siddaramaiah to inaugurate new DC office complex in Padil: Dinesh Gundu Rao

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District-in-Charge Minister who is also Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dinesh Gundu Rao, said that the construction of a new DC Office Complex at Padil will be completed by April 20 and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the complex within this month.

Speaking to mediapersons after inspecting the ongoing work of the complex, he said the works are in completion stage. “We have requested Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to schedule a day for the inauguration. Along with the inauguration of the DC office complex, the CM will also inaugurate an indoor stadium, and various other development works,” Rao said.

In fact, the foundation for the DC office complex was laid when Siddaramaiah was Chief Minister in his previous tenure. The DC office complex building has all facilities for seamless government services.

To a query, the Minister stated that all work at the new DC Office Complex will be completed before the inauguration. However, he said, it will take some time to fix chairs in the auditorium in the complex. After the inauguration, all offices, including Deputy Commissioner’s office, record rooms, treasury, women and child development, social welfare departments, sub registrar office will be shifted to the new complex. The Health and Family Welfare department will get a new building with all facilities, he added.
