<p>Tumakuru: Co-operation Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/k-n-rajanna">K N Rajanna</a> has said that the the demand made by some for a fresh caste survey could be accepted.|</p>.<p>“Karnataka had a population of 5.5 crore when the survey was conducted and now the population has crossed 7.5 crore. This means, over two crore people have not been surveyed. Just as population census is conducted once in a decade, the demand for fresh caste census too could be considered,” Rajanna said.</p>.Caste census data deliberately leaked by Congress members, claims Kumaraswamy.<p>However, the minister added that it did not mean that he had accepted the demand for fresh survey.</p>.<p>Rajanna said that if the Vokkaliga community pointed to a specific issue in the caste census report, the government would take corrective steps.</p>
