<p>Bangalore Regional defence laboratories bagged the major share of the annual DRDO Awards 2011 during the Annual Director’s Conference 2012 held recently in New Delhi. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Among the Young Scientists awardees from Bangalore are Vikram Singh, Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA); KP Jayaprakash, Centre for Air Borne Systems (CABS); Hemant Vasant Paranjape, Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE); J Sankar Kumar, Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE); Pramod Kumar, Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) and Santhosh Kumar, Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC).<br /><br />The Best Performance Awardees from Bangalore were: Renu Sharma, Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC); N Hoysala, Defence Bio- Engineering & Electro Medical Lab (DEBEL); SN Mahesh, Asstt (Hindi) – Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR); MK Geetha, MTRDC; K Manoharan from Naval Physical and Oceanographic Lab (NPOL), Kochi.<br /></p>
